Superb idea, Carroll.
I've also received this suggestion off-list.
However, that will be the first thing I check for.
My only hesitations are that - as I recall - there is a single
one-size-fits-all key (as well as your well-taken point that it can be
jumpered). However, it's definitely a good alternative if I can't get into
the BIOS.
My alternative, as I mentioned, will be to try to locate a software lock
(for what it's worth!).
