Hello,

As Jim suggested, a "position-sensitive" computer means something is
loose. More often than not the graphic card will have slipped out enough
that all fingers are not making contact. Many mainboards will act
completely dead if the graphic card is not properly installed.

There are at least two alternatives:

Loose screws/washers/other small parts that fall onto a component and
short it...just turn upside down and shake to find out.

A mounting post that shorts the mainboard that is too lose in the case.
It is best to check this by visual inspection. Pressing and pushing can
damage the board and/or cause a worse short circuit.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Bruce
