Toshiba Tecra notebook with Pentium CPU is soldering to the motherboard for
better performance. Only memory can be increased , not the CPU. At the
moment only Pentium II chips can be upgraded.

        Subject: [PCBUILD] Laptop Upgrade

I have a friend that wants to upgrade his CPU in his Toshiba Techra
with a
Pentium 120MHz, he wants to know if there is a way to get a faster
CPU for
it. I told him that probably not because they usually solder the
CPU's to
the mother board in a laptop, does anyone know if there is a way to
upgrade
        this machine?

            ...James
