That's what I meant to write but I put it wrong. It sounded ok at the time.
Actually, now I think of it, I'm not sure about the ctrl key in win95
either, but I remember it works with win98.

ctrl key does take you to the startup menu in win98 and ME (I'm not sure
about win95).  f5 in any of these operating systems will bypass the startup
files and f8 in win98 and 98 will take you to the startup menu
