You might try easing off your browser security settings.  It might be an 
ActiveX control not being permitted.

Could be due to a recent Windows security update if you are on 
auto-updates.  Always a prime suspect when something like this suddenly 
goes awol.

  Try uninstalling any with coincident dates, if you're willing to accept 
the vulnerability risk.
