Canon uses ink with an alcohol content.You may also want to know that
refilling those cartridges is really simple and VERY economical. Another
trick is to inject about 2cc of rubbing alcohol into the bc-21 black and
white and about 1cc per color
into the color cartridges with a medical syringe, let them sit overnite
and they're usually re-constituted and useable. Try it...
