BNC refers to the connector at the end of a Coaxial Cable.  Is it possible
that you unintentionally called it BNC? Coaxial Cables are also used for
tranmission of TV signals.  In order to utilize the COAXIAL inputs on the
back of your monitor, you would need a video card that has a "TV out" or
"Coaxial out" port in addition to the regular 15 pin connector.  With such a
connection behind your monitor, you can even hook your VCR or antenna input
straight into it.
