Bob, I assume you mean your computer has 256MB of ram (you've typed 256k).

However, main system ram won't help with the game - sounds as tho it's looking for at least 32mb on the video card, which might only have 8mb or 16mb onboard.

These days, games are getting more and more demanding of system resources - some video cards have 256mb of ram.  A lot of games won't run with less than 64mb.

However, 32mb video cards aren't expensive any more - sounds like you might have to invest in another card.

  I bought a game for my son's computer (266/P2 with 10gbHD and aTrident  video card). When I installed it, an error message came back indicating I needed 32Mb of ram. I know the system has enough memory(256k). Any suggestions to help alleviate this problem. The video card works on other games and functions.
