The POST test audio code  for IBM systems indicates that 1 long and 3 short
beeps identifiies a problem with the "enhanced graphics" applications.

If the system BIOS is AMI based the same audio signals indicate that a
problem exists in "Conventional/extended memory" - a non fatal error.
