    The 2 things that I found an 800 Mhz is useful on is for CD
conversion to MP3 and for DVD conversions from DVD to MPEG4.  To convert
a movie from DVD to a CD, it can take 20 hours on a 450 mhz but this is
cut down to 5-6 hours on an 800 Mhz Athlon or PIII.  The Athlon seems
even faster than the PIII.
