        Does your service us DHCP? Did you select the actual NIC the modem is
connected to? For example on my system when I run winipcfg my screen shows
"PPP Adapter" and also has an address of 0.0.0.0. This is because that
interface has not be activated. If I select NTS PPPoE Adapter (my service
uses PPPoE so you can't select the interface, I have to select the virtual
device) it shows my IP address. There are various other ways to find your IP
address but this is the simplest and quickest. TTYL
