  Typically a loose card in the slot will emit three fast PC speaker
beeps, but the error message you mention usually refers to signal loss
from the monitor cable. Check and make sure it is connected on both ends
and doesn't have any bent pins. Also try the Marvel card in another
machine to see if it is dead.
