We have suffered from an error in some HDD Maxtor 40 GB, fireball 3, that
changes the identification of the HDD when the PC starts and then is not
recognized by the os:
the new identification recognizes the HDD as ARES or ROMULUS.
Some of us guess this is a bios trouble on the HDD.
1- Does anybody know about this problem?
2- Any way that I can rewrite the bIOS of such HDD?
TIA
Roberto
