After installing the file and print sharing protocal make sure the
drives
are shared:

double click on the my computer icon
select the drive you want to share (highlight the drive)
click on file
click on sharing
select "Shared As" give the drive a lable or use the default
Select "Access type" select the one you wish to use
click OK

This assumes you are using Microsoft peer to peer networking
