Sounds like you used DirectCD. I do not. (It was too unstable with
my older burners.)
But I used to have this problem with disks that were not burned well
(or properly). They would confuse the drive, and Windows too.

Try booting and ejecting the disk before windows starts.
I never had I disk I could not get out this way, unless the burner died.
