The advice already mentioned, newer burner (Plextor and LiteOn can
handle this), or DVD are your options.  There is however, only one of
these that is truly useful.  DVD is your answer.  900 MB CD's are not a
"book" specification.  Manufacturers of these disks are not the
mainstream factories.  Their quality is invariably questionable.  None
of the highly regarded manufacturers of blank CD's produce them.  They
work, but the question is for how long.  If the material you wish to
store is valuable and important, either multiple high quality CD's or
DVD's are your answer.  For the highest quality CD's, look for those
manufactured in Japan.  They are a very safe bet.  There are some
excellent CD's manufactured in Taiwan, but virtually all the junk CD's
come from there too.  There are not a lot of manufacturers of CD's and
the brand name company's shop for price.  At the moment, most of the
Fuji's in the USA are made in Japan and are are superb.  If you are able
to find Kodak Gold's where you live, they are arguably the best ever.
 Too bad they stopped producing them.
