Tomato adds two elements to a dish... sweetness and acid.
I find that adding some fruit to a dish can add both these elements.
Apricots and apples can add some sweetness. And I use a lot of lemon
and lime juice for acid. Maybe orange juice could add both!

Have a look online for some Asian recipes. The Thai section of
http://asiarecipe.com/ has some good recipes. I find Asian recipes
generally very easy to adapt to Paleo and they taste GREAT!!
