Hi Janet,

Welcome to the list!

My own experience is that honey does trigger a sweet tooth, as do dried
fruits, but otherwise I have managed to lose 25lb while still eating fruit -
1-2 portions a day. I often have berries for breakfast along with some form
of protein.

On the other hand the book 'Lights Out' by Wiley and Formby suggests that
you should limit fruit particularly in winter if you want to lose weight,
since we're not designed to eat it all year round.
