I can only speak for me as my friends are now wearing bifocals or reading
glasses.

I do wonder if blood sugar would affect eye sight.  I know diabetics can
have vision problems.

Perhaps processed foods and sugars and grains are not good for the eyes,
either?

This is interesting. I am 46, and am just starting to lose my ability to
read fine print (I have not gone 100% paleolithic but plan to after the
holidays).
