I have read it and, like a lot of people, I think it's one of the most important books on the subject of diet that I've ever read. Taubes painstakingly dissects the cholesterol myth, and explains its origin. He criticizes the naïve thermodynamic view of obesity and body weight and discusses lots of very interesting cases and studies. It's an extraordinarily detailed piece of investigative and critical science writing. It's not about paleo, but anyone interested in nutrition and weight issues can learn a great deal from it.
