Sorry, but this so-called fix just changes the way the
computer displays the dates. It won't change the way your
computer understands dates. If your computer is Y2K
compliant, it still will be if you continue with two-digit
dates, and if it isn't, having it display all four digits
won't help.

I got a link to a website discussing this from another
list, after this same post appeared there, and it explained
why changing the display won't help. Unfortunately, I
didn't file the link, so I can't give it here.

P.S. At least, changing the display won't hurt anything,
unless it gives you a false sense of security.
