And, won't "foot and mouth" hysteria finish them off? I've seen so many
pictures of horrified families where they take their animals away from them
even though the animals are not even sick and kill them all.

I read in Asian countries they just live with foot and mouth and do not get
hysterical nor kill all their animals. (Hong Kong for example.)
