The milkweed shoots are delicous in early spring, but you have to catch them
early before they get too tall and bitter.  Simply steam and add some olive
oil.   The pods are good too, but again, eat them early,  before they are
filled with white fluffy seeds.  Those can be boiled and dressed as well.
