Remember people do this by weight. Since fat is lighter in weight, looking
at it you see more fat. When I make mine I only use enough fat to hold it
together as a solid chunk.

I don't know if I'd call it salty, but I can certainly taste both the salt
and the honey. As I don't add salt to my food I'm more sensitive to its taste.
