I have a letter from McCormick's which states that all of their spices are
pure unless otherwise listed in the ingredients on the bottle.  Since I have
used their ground spices for years without any problems, I believe that they
are being honest.  As someone mentioned before, they would be setting
themselves up for a big lawsuit if they weren't.
