Hi Paleopeople,

I hope this is a paleotopic.
I was wondering why women tend to have their periods together when living
in the same house. Something about pheromones? What is the cavewoman
advantage to having this trait? This characteristic is very common but why?

Since going paleo I am regular, every 28 days, for the first time in my life!

Paleobest,
Susan

Hi Susan,
I don't know why it happens but I have experienced the effect from close friendships even when the women didn't live with me. I have had other women pull my cycle off. Have you experienced this phenomenon? Also, I have read allot about entire villages of women on the same cycle, but that the light of the moon was responsible. The contraceptive using this effect is called Lunaception. Louise Lacey wrote a book by that name. It is out of print but worth owning. You should read it! Very intriguing.
