I'm curious how one could consider this Paleo, first of all. Rice  
isn't Paleo, didn't exist as we know it until man cultivated it, and  
cannot reproduce itself without intervention. Add to that a  
technology to get the bran off the rice and then extract oil, and I  
think we're pushing it a bit here. I am not convinced vegetable oils  
play a seminal role in our nutrition, nor are they without a downside  
in most cases, due to the plant compounds being hard to metabolize  
and sometimes toxic.

I suppose it might be a clue to note that one of the websites says it  
is "refined, bleached, dewaxed, and deodorized", not to mention the  
"high fry life" claimed. This is not food, for me.
