I'd try the 'exchanges' section of http://www.gardenweb.com ... which is a
wonderful site with good message boards too. I would think someone in the
Carolinas would have a plant swap available! Another way to go might be a
search on 'tobacco plant' on eBay. I know they have a service where the
search happens every so often and emails you the results, in case a plant
isn't available at auction right now. (That feature's under 'favorite
searches'.)
