I don't know about BHA/gluten.  If you have any concern about these it
is very easy to make your own chicken fat. Private butchers and
supermarket butchers often sell fat from chickens in tubs or you can
arrange for that with them.

       Render the fat by cutting raw pieces into small pieces and
heating slowly over med to low heat in saucepan. You don't want it to
bubble or overheat..it will brown/burn. Fat will render into clear
liquid. Strain when done. Keep in fridge.

       Chicken fat has a low browning point so fry food in it at the
lowest possb that will still keep frying. Can add olive oil or other oil
or ghee when frying in it to raise browning point.  If there are
chicken-skin pieces they can be fried in the fat and are particularly
delicious.
