        You gotta go to a butcher who runs his own butchery, not a
grociery store butcher.  Tell him you want sliced uncurred bacon.  If he's
not sure what you mean, tell him you want the part of the pig that gets
turned into bacon slices as if it was bacon, but not smoked or treated
with any substance.  When he gives you "the warning," tell him you know
that it tastes like pork chops and not like bacon, and that you like it
like that.
