My body *does* react to certain foods, so I can't be
much help to you there. But I do have an idea for
you. Why not do a sort of an elimination diet? Spend
2-4 weeks eating a higher carb (more fruits and
veggies of course) diet, with only the protein you
need and moderate fat.

Then try 2-4 weeks with high fat, moderate protein,
and low carbs (no fruit, only high fiber, low starch
veggies) and see how you feel. The difference in how
you feel might be subtle.

But since you are probably a very healthy person, you
won't have the same reactions as those of us who are
insulin resistant or have systemic candida or are
older or have other health problems caused by years of
poor nutrition.

But you may notice a difference. Also try doing a
certain exercise, say walking or weight lifting, and
make notes of how long your endurance lasts on the
different diets, as well as moods, hours spent
sleeping.

This might give you a better idea of how your body
fares on different ratios. Also I know that many here
do not agree with checking blood type, but I have
personally found and seen a lot of anecdotal evidence
that blood type has some relation to the proper
ratios.

This is because often Europeans have blood type O, and
our ancestors ate certain things native to Europe.
Blood types A and B are often Asian and African, IIRC,
and their ancestors ate what was available to this
area.

Since my ancestors were german, irish, french and
spanish (with a strong leaning towards german genes),
I researched as well as I could what my ancestors ate.
I found it was a lot of garlic, onions, red meat, and
a few other things.

So I started eating mostly these things, and low and
behold, I feel best when I eat the things that are
closest to what my ancestors would have eaten.
