Okay, I just read that the "average red blood cell survives in circulation
for 120 days."

That's considerably longer than the 6 days I posted earlier.  So now I'm
wondering what species of animal it is whose histology is stuck in my mind.
Apparently a non-human one.

LOL......I'll search some more to see if I can find another number to
further confuse us all!  Or maybe I should just be quiet and stick to
liberal arts instead of science.  <g>
