Hello. Sorry that I have been MIA....s-t-r-e-s-s!!!
I am not sure if I told ya last week that we got the results of Tyler's bloodwork and he has a low IgA rendering all the allergy and celiac testing inaccurate?! Well anyways, as expected, the doc said she doesn't trust RAST or skin prick for allergy testing and believes he does have an allergy despite the testing negative.
Also as expected she wants to do an endoscopy and a flexible sigmoidoscopy. I want to know what to expect--from the doc, the hospital staff, my son and from myself (will I get really upset when they take him in)? Just want advice from mommies, like me, who've been there!!
Thanks--we are 1 step closer to finding out what is (or isn't) the problem!! Yeah for that! The office will call 2morrow and tell me when the procedures will be.
TIA for your advice and support!!
Nancy mom to Tyler, 16 months
