I'm not sure what brand of soy milk you are using, but typically they
have around 500mg per 8 oz serving if the label says 30% RDA.

The only thing we really worry about is the flouride since we don't have
a flouridated water supply. The Tri-Vi-Flour drops are OU and we have
not had any problems. Don't know about the chewables.

Here is the info that I have saved from a previous discussion:

"New calcium intake guidelines say that children from ages 1 to 3 years
need
500 milligrams (mg) a day; ages 4 to 8 years need 800 mg per day; and
ages 9
to 18 need 1300 mg per day.

(USDA Children's Nutrition Research Center in Baylor College of medicine
in
Houston, Texas.)"

So, my conclusion has been that 2-3 cups (7-8 oz each) of soy milk is
more than enough for my 2 yo. We do try to eat vitamin/mineral rich
foods which is much easier since we have to avoid most packaged foods
anyway.

Hope this helps,
Kathy P.
