Anat,  The Food Allergy Network (http://foodallergy.org/) does list ghee as
containing dairy on their read a label card, although I am not well versed in
how ghee is made.

Awhile ago someone mentioned to use 3/4 cup allowable oil in a recipe that
calls for 1 cup margarine.
