I am so pleased that Stella D'Oro has cancelled their plans to change
their cookies to dairy instead of dairy-free. Hooray!! They are some
of my favorite cookies. Here's the notice I got from Kashrut.com:

Stella D'oro Cookies & Baked Products
ISSUE: Plans were made to change these products to Dairy. The
packaging had been switched to OU-D in advance of the ingredient
change. The change to dairy has been cancelled and all Stella D'oro
products, even those labeled OU-D, are actually Pareve.

ed. note: An article in Sunday's NY Times incorrectly stated that the
cookies are OU-P. The cookies are pareve, not kosher for Passover.
