I make hommous (apparently there are alot of spellings along with a lot of
recipes) with peanut butter (peanuts only) in place of the sesame seed
paste. If your children are allergic to peanuts, hommous can be made with
cashews or any other kinds of nut butters. Almonds even work but the
product is a little sweet tasting.
