My son reacted badly to regular AND soy formula as an infant (I needed to
supplement breast-feeding for the first two months). He tolerated
pre-digested Nutramigen better, but was still an unhappy, colicky and rashy
baby who did not gain weight well. When I was finally able to discontinue
the formula he still did not improve until I stopped eating dairy entirely.
I understand milk and soy allergy/intolerance often go together. Try going
off soy and removing other dairy (it may be the protein and not the lactose
she is reacting to) before you go looking for other problem foods.

Good luck,
