I was just reading up on everone's mailings and it occurred to me to
ask, Does everyone know that your epipens should not be exposed to
exteme changes in temperature. And you should check to see that it isn't
discoloured. Our pharmacist said that even though it may not be expired
we should renew them every year anyways as travelling back and forth
they go through alot. Also another point you might consider, if you have
never had to use your epipen pen instead of disposing of the old ones
intact, use them first on a grapefruit, you will be amazed at the impact
the needle has. Also it is a good idea to have people who care for your
children do this and pretend that they are giving the actual needle.
Then dispose of them.
