The May /June issue of Mother Jones features an excellent article titled
"Medicating Aliah," that reports on how drug companies are aggressively
lobbying state mental health-care providers to adopt "algorithms" dictating
that the newest, most expensive drugs be used in treating psychological
disorders, and then pushing state authorities (including public schools) to
aggressively diagnose people with mental disorders.
