 In this edition,

1. The New president of Niger, Mamadou Issoufou shares his plans for Niger. The occasion is the first 100 days as President of Niger. President Issoufou just concluded his first international courtesy tour.

2. Tchad officials are said to be disappointed at Senegal's eleventh-hour decision to suspend the extradition of former President Hissene Habre. Tchadian officials proclaim they have spared no effort in ensuring a free and fair trial for their former president. Senegal has been accused by Habre's lawyer to be participating in an act of abduction, kidnapping, wrongful imprisonment, and deportation if it were to go ahead with its decision to extradite Habre to Tchad. I like this lawyer.

3. Ivory Coast re-launches her economy. Now that suffocating sanctions have been lifted, the vibrant Ivorian economy that will strengthen social reconciliation and renewal will need some 28 billion Fcfa. The private sector is enjoined to play its part in the resuscitation of the most dynamic economy in West Africa. Also an interview with Gilles Atayi, Director of G&A business solutions.

4. The Press community remembers one of its own.
