Demba, leave us alone. We are not in transition and our Alhagi Ousainu
Darboe is not going anywhere. He is UDP's biggest asset and has a very
important role to play whether or not he becomes a candidate in 2016. He is
certainly not retiring. That's for sure and you can take it from me.

He has been the candidate in the past because people chose him. So instead
of making a fuss out of nothing, I think your concern should the naked
discrimination the constitution exhibited in respect of the upper age limit
for the presidency.

As it was the case in 1998 and 2010, a party leader position only becomes
vacant during the course of the party 's national congress.

I think you need to spend your time on more important and educative
programmes on Gainako radio rather than wasting it all on sensational
journalism. I say no more.

Thanks
Daffeh
