Brother Karim, I share Suntou's sentiment regarding your pejorative label of JDAM. I have enormous respect for JDAM because as long as he has been with us here, that is what he has earned. His words are always measured and he is always considerate of his audience. He also has efforted to enhance community among Gambians in various places. He is admired and respected by all. I was only able to afford you assistance in your time time of need because I relied on the good graces of JDAM.

Thank you Karim for your understanding. I merely suggest you use measured and more benign language even as you share contrarian views to those of JDAM. I haven't been lucky enough to need to draw blood with JDAM because even when I have a slight discomfort with his position on any matter, his serene communication of that position and his glorious credit always disarms me.

Sidi is a good friend of my family. The only thing I faulted him for was for accepting employment from Yahya and I indicated that to him. Of course everyone who takes up employment from Yahya has a justification for it. I respect those various justifications. Being who I am, I will never understand those justifications variously. What I will request is that none pretend to be speaking for me or acting on my behalf without my prior written permission. And Uncle Sidi has respected that. Not only that, Sidi has not pretended he is speaking or acting on the behalf of my fellow Gambians now that he is not in the employ of Yahya. For that I honor and respect him. I will do anything in my power to add value to any endeavor he pursues at this advanced age. Gambians are better off to have had Sidi as a fellow citizen all these years. I am sure JDAM recognizes that and he is proud of it. Like me, JDAM must remain true to himself and considerate of his fellow citizen. All at the same time. He means no malice toward Sidi.

Please extend my regards to your wonderful wife and children.

Best.
Haruna.

Abdoukarim
How are you and the family? I hope you are all doing good.
My personal observation is that, we are all here in this forums to exchange views and ideas which will not always be comfortable reading. It is a sign of progress for, we talk directly to each other, not as friends, but as Gambians. There will be accusation and counter-accusations, there will be the occasional insults and character attacks, none the less, such is all expected.
However, I think LJD deserve some better terminology than calling him "Joe Sambou and his hunter dog Lamin LJ Darboe character".

It is within your rights to disagree strongly with LJD and Joe Sambou, however, continue to use your abundance valley of vocubalary than use words which are improper. If we have passed a bridge together, we should cherish those past relationships no matter what. I am of the opinion that, your past relationship with LJD should be something that will cool you down and moderate your language whilst still saying what you want to say.
If we don't disagree and exchange views, there is no point reading each other's comments. I disagree with somethings LJD writes and I agree with a lot of what he writes, and likewise, I disagre with a lot of what Joe Sambou writes and agree with some of what he writes. This can be replicated to all the members of the forum. Keep bringing your expertise to the floor, many will enjoy them and get some benefit from it.
I hope I will not become a subject of attack, if such happen, it will still be a sign of progress on our collective. Believe me, there are many Gambians reading in this forums who are teriffied of been criticise or scrutinise. I mean the vast majority are silent because of that. So the few exchanging views should be moderate and sensible. No one is a fool, neither can be taken for granted. LJD to my observation is too intelligent to be anyone's 'hunter dog' likewise you Karim. We are all on the same page.
Your brother
Suntou

Please don't waste your time with Joe Sambou and his hunter dog Lamin LJ Darboe character. Let them continue with their betting which define how sickening they will continue tearing citizens in their remote comfort zone. The link below is a wikileak diplomatic cable from Dakar Senegal about the predicament of Sidi Sanneh which lot will find it interesting.

Joe,
To be honest with you, you may think that you are a tough-no-nonesense guy, but you are nothing but a big distraction in our fight to uproot Jammeh. This task of uprooting Jammeh belong to nobody. Do you part and let others do theirs. If you think that you are so brave and can do it alone, please be my guest --- help us out; go get him. We need every hand on deck. Collective effort of the people you are busy critising is far greater than your's alone. We are all aware of what the likes of Sidat Jobe, Amadou Janneh, Sidi Sanneh did and are doing to uproot Jammeh. Who the hell are you to decide for Gambians, who should be in the fight and who should not be.

In your haste, you stabbed at the wrong target. Who said you represented at any bank? Have you ever represented Gambia as a Banker around the world? I am talking about the nonsense you peddled as you brown nosed for Yaya to land a job and you are talking about representing. You, Sidi were representing Gambia on Gambia L and Gambia Post, when you were here snaking around? Are you loosing your mind? Again, you may think you are smart but you dug this hole for yourself and thus allowed the village idiot to spin you around. You were fired and that was said about you and you will have to live with your demon. Sidi, Yanghe Merr Kat! There is nothing you got in education, training, or accomplishment that I envy, so please do not stroke yourself too hard. When you were sliming your way on Gambia Post and Gambia L the whole world witnessed you and so you cannot invent your track record.

You keep saying you do not know this one and that one, Dinga Dem Ba Lamba Sa Tatati Neh Du Sah Bos. Impressed me that you do not know Yaya either!

Aaaaaahhhh, the old story, Joe is a mole, and I will help you with the rest - Because Joe is a Jola. Damn, I must be a very good mole to evade capture by you the real Gambians all these years. The story was I was a mole for the Embassy in DC and four nuts were the support cast because they wanted the Diaspora to endorse their candidate and I dared to tell them to get lost for their candidate was not even qualified to contest any election, anywhere. Joe is a bigot. Against, who Sidi or Mandingos? Another ole trick is that members of my family form the core support of Yaya Jammeh. Unlike you, I will gladly discuss every bit of what you laid down.

I do not have to dispel your mole thingy for Ndongo La by any stretch. Hamnga Yen Sen Ndongoyaa Yep Chi Gas Patate Ngen Em. Larjal Nya Fenon Fenwa ak Fang Mujay. Nyore Dey Ak Sen Gatche. They cannot be taken seriously today and you are fast loosing grip yourself. Sidi, after all you did here, Laegi Danga Sus! How old are you again? Sidi, if I were like you, I would have been the one to hire you well before you go to Gambia for I am equally credentialed and experienced in my own right well before Yaya is Yaya. But I am not like you. That is why when you were shamelessly going to feed off the bones of Gambians as Yaya was slaughtering Gambians, I was right here pulling my own weight and doing it honestly. Siboru Duh Suma Affaire. Bange Kat La! Bangha Ruhlanteh Nyom Bala Jahumpa Pour Yegga Cha Yaya, Ku Neh Gis Nama Mai Nyeffeh Nyi Nyep Teh Banah Heb Ken. You cannot say that Sidi. Danga Charlit!

Now let's explore the part about members of my family forming the core support of Yaya. One of your friends made that mistake some years back and after he was corrected and folks straightened the record for him, not even the Good Muslim he claimed to be was enough for him to apologize. At my end we call such a person a hypocrite. As I recalled it, he insisted that some Harry Sambou in the Jammeh Administration is my brother and Willie Joof is my brother and my mother is the late Ginesse Sambou, a name I heard of before but do not know the person. Anyway, many people on this distro know my brothers, sisters, and mother. They could not have known my father for he passed away when I was two years old. And so, Dinnama Jahal Kan Suma Mborka Moi "Core Support of Yaya". I have been here for a while speaking vocally about the filth that is happening in Gambia and I spare no body, youself included, not leaving my own blood. I did not have to do that and you know that. If you a Mandingo sycophant can get in, what about a Jola Tribalist with all the rights and privileges bestowed in me? You a Mandingo, what can you slime for that I cannot get double of, as a Jola Tribalist, what? Please try me! And so, you are devoid of substance. Sidi, you are a fraud! Bor Koi Nero Mai Kor Tuda! And oh, Joe has an agenda. You damn right I have an agenda against frauds such as yourself. All you had to do was to openly support Yaya, but you did not have the backbone and that is why you weaseled your way to your disgrace. Man get out of my face, damn turncoat!

Joe

What you call 'POSITIONING' is called "REPRESENTING" in the real world. Don't be a bigot! - Sidi Sanneh breaks it down for Joe Sambou
Mr. Sambou,

When you've spent the most productive part of your life away in distant lands, struggling daily with the art of survival ( I know, I have lived it too ), you tend to miss out on what obtains in the real world. You, therefore, tend to view everything through the prism of a world completely devoid of reality through no fault of your own. I will, however fault you when you accuse me of, what you immediate detect as "POSITIONING", impugning motive for someone you've never met. What you call ' ' is called "REPRESENTING" in the real world. I was not at the Bank dispensing advise selectively. I was there as representative of a Constituency of which The Gambia was a tiny part. Despite its size or my nationality, the country received the same quality of representation as Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana and Sudan. Please do a little bit of research before you make a fool of yourself in the eyes of those who take the time to dig in a little bit deeper than engage in 'vous' talk. You appear lazy for your youthful age because you seem stuck in 2001 still, your language, your ideas - nothing has changed but the world has changed in dramatic fashion. Move on Joe Joe Sambou. In your own little world, you believe the only way to gain attention and relevance is to rail, roll and eviscerate for 15 years and at anyone who dares hold a view different from your own, in the realm of politics, religion or tribal affiliation. The definition of such a person is a 'bigot.' That you are - and I mean it in the most complimentary way. Maybe your Nouakchott sojourn will help you see the real world you've incubated yourself from for thirty-odd years.

You accused me of two things which I'd like to address - that I was a subject of the Paul Commission and that I was arrested and thrown behind a truck. I will repeat what I have said in the interview, I was never a subject of any Commission of Inquire of any kind, neither in the Jawara nor in the Jammeh regime. My hands are clean, are yours? About the other accusation, I was never arrested much less thrown behind a truck with Tombong, I assume, you are referring to Tombong Saidy. As hard as this may appear to comprehend, I do not know Tombong Saidy. I never met Tombong Saidy and we shared Banjul for a year or two. Well, I could be wrong - it was dark and we couldn't make each other out in the truck. You are lying; unless you provide proof. Otherwise, I demand retraction. I want no apology from you, not from someone who employ McCarthyite tactics. You've been at this for over a decade with nothing constructive to show for it, expect sowing more seeds of discord and suspicion. No wonder you have been accused of being a mole, an accusation you have yet to dispel. Members of your family form the core support of Yaya Jammeh, and yet you accuse others of complicity.

Fatou Jaw Manneh conducted an honest interview. She was accorded the opportunity to ask follow up questions and she did follow up on several issues. It is fluff to Joe Sambou because it revealed something contrary to the picture you've tried to paint of this monster named Sidi Sanneh who you knowingly and falsely accuse of stealing public monies, leading to his subsequent arrest and thrown behind a truck. Folks have now seen another narrative so different from what St Joe Sambou and members of his Tabernacle Choir has attempted to peddle for a decade without success. As I said in the interview, you are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. The important folks are family, friends, colleagues ( past and present ) and most important of all, are those ordinary Gambians that I tried to serve to the best of ability as a public servant.

I will debate you on THE FACTS but only if you stop muddying the waters with invectives and obfuscations. I am not surprised that you do not place high premium on 'results-based' approaches to solving problems because you are allergic to facts which will only help reveal your bigotry. Slash-and-burn suits you fine because you thrive in manufactured adversity and discord to advance your own agenda.

Sidi Sanneh
