Mawdo Demba, right! Once the local chiefs and parliamentarians succeed in crowning Jammeh as a king, then I don't have to sweat for the kingship. (laughs).

On a honest note, I wish Jammeh was a good man. I would have been proud to associate with him. Unfortunately, he is the black sheep of not only the Jolas, the whole of Foninkas or Gambians, but the entire world. The man is just a monstrous fellow who I can't stand at all. I don't like his doings and way of leadership.

Jammeh's younger brother from the father side (Ansu) grew in Sintet. Jammeh's auntie (Daughter to Jejaw) lives in Sintet, the woman that cooked for us at the primary school throughout. Not even her was spared in the 'witch craft' raid, Mawdo Demba. Now, you clearly see why I disowned Jammeh.

Thanks for the humor.

Yero.

Haruna, Jammeh is actually Yero's Maternal Uncle but for some reason he disowned him along the way!!! (opt! I just let the cat out of the bag)

So it would be a line of heritage to the throne for Yero to replace Jammeh... and oh what a freedom to party that would be?

Am rooting for him too men!!!!!

Demba

I think you should be the next President of Gambia. You speak Fula, Mandingo, Jola, Wollof, Aku, Sarahulay, and Manjago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you form an exploratory committee, please lemme know. It will be a tough choice for me between you and my Dem cousins but your linguistic abilities might just put you over the top.

Haruna.

I try, though I lost some of my fluency over time, especially after a decade of not interacting. I used to go 'herding' "Fuh mataff' cows with the Jolas during my younger days. I was a shepherd boy who spent a great time working on the farm and at the herd. My grandfather was also married to a Jola , and we have some relatives among the Jolas (Badjie), some of them in 'baseng' (Cassamance), and others in 'Bajana' (Foni). The Gambia is a very small place.

[...as I, before that time have predicted to many particularly when we had those workshops on HIV/AIDS that there is a cure for it and without discrimination JOLAS have a cure for it. Thank you for making my predictions comes through. Please as a patriotic citizen and of the same ethnicity as you...]Baboucarr J. Bojang

Without exaggeration, I found the above statement not fitting right. I don't have any problems with messages to Jammeh, especially in their 'butt-licking' efforts to win material, but what is quite scary is the division and marginalization of people based on tribe.

Bojanghoo (in foni Jola), 'manteh aww ju'ut'. Pan Jak! Hula tuu keg Gambie. Yaya Jammeh ah ghajori. oh bajut fukof!"
