If there is anything I'd advise you on Ginny and you take the advice, is that I will discourage you from affording anyone your phone number in challenge to see if they'd insult you. I'm quite sure no one would insult you over the phone, but let them get your phone number another way and not through you offering it to them in such a challenge. I understand how you want to see the good in all people. You must also be aware there are mentally disturbed persons who are not registered with an institution. Through no deliberate fault of their own, they may take your challenge as an affront to dare them. The mentally disturbed already have the defense of insanity. WHy feed that?

Firstly, I do not feel threatened by Mboge. I know we've disagreed in
he past, and I personally think he's been and continues to be rude and

I find it interesting, though, that for someone who considers me to be
omeone not worth his time, that he'd first of all take the time to
rite me privately, and secondly, continue to discuss the issue
ublicly online. I don't mind disagreements, I have disagreements with
eople all of the time, but what I don't like is when disagreements
egenerate into taunts, insults, etc., and further when said
isagreements turn into grudges, whereby it becomes impossible to have
ny kind of a discussion with someone about any topic because they
ill forever hold a past disagreement over your head inperpetuity.
If I disagree with you on one thing, it may be that I may agree with
ou on another thing, so I'm not going to hold any kind of disagreement
ith you against you, to the point that I can't discuss anything else
ith you. And to me that shows maturity and cool-headedness. If I do
ave a strong disagreement with someone where it gets heated, I try to
ake amends afterwords, and make sure we are on good terms, and to make
ure that the person I've disagreed with knows that I don't dislike
hem as a person, I just didn't agree with them on something.
That's how I work. I don't hold grudges, I don't hold people's past
rguments with me over their heads. And I'm just saying that if people
hoose to do that with me, these are not people that I'd like to have
ny kind of a discussion with. I don't have anything against anyone on
his list, in fact, I'm sure that many are perfectly nice and sensible
eople in real life, but for many, including myself sometimes, we get
ehind a computer screen and forget that the person we are talking to
s a real person with thoughts, feelings, etc. And we say things to
hem we'd never probably even have the gutts to say to their faces in
eal life. And I'd be happy to give out my number if Mboge or anyone
lse wants to call me and say to me, to my face/over the phone, the
ame sorts of insulting things they say here online, because my guess
s that they won't take me up on that challenge. Why? Because it's
asy to insult people from the comfort of your keyboard. It's much
arder to insult someone to their face.
But anyway, I do not feel victimized or bullied, just wanted to amke
hat clear again. And I think that Mboge and Haruna are perfectly good
eople, but they unfortunately got carried away, in thier attempt to be
acho or something, I don't know (smile*.
