This is what I call fate and accepting the creation. Everything has a time and you cannot force anything to happen if the time doesn’t arrive. However, if one dies on the enemy’s terms, He will always jubilate instead of condolence forgetting that, it was not him/her but God's term and the victim's time in this world has ended and cannot be renewed. Very true, dear friend...... ......we have war, people dying from malnutrition, suffering from lack of shelter, medical attention, violence, etc.  I'm not very enlightened either but I do love people....all sentient beings, in fact...I love them all madly.  I do not want to see suffering in this world especially when we can do something to alleviate it.......all I can do is my best........ be the change I wish to see in the world. :o)  
Geo, I struggle with this reality all the time but I am hopeful....I am optimistic.. .....I have to be.......... ........I know that it's all in God's hands and we are all learning valuable lessons through pain as well as joy.  I can't explain it.......it' s simply a vast mystery and I have learned to accept that.

DIFFERENCES IN RELIGION~

Religion is not an end in itself. One's union with God is the ultimate goal. There are so many religions because immature people tend to emphasize trivial differences instead of important likenesses. Differences between faiths lie in creeds and rituals rather than religious principles.

Some people indulge in quarrels, saying, `One cannot attain anything unless one worships our Krishna,' or, `Nothing can be gained without the worship of Kali, our Divine Mother,' or, `One cannot be saved without accepting the Christian religion.' This is pure dogmatism. The dogmatist says, `My religion alone is true, and the religions of others are false.' This is a bad attitude. God can be reached by different paths.
 
Religion is a state of power and influence over the humans.. Spirituality is the individual path of the soul towards the knowledge of Truth.. We can learn from religious texts but the True Power comes not from texts but from our experience with Consciousness. . All knowledge of Truth is the same, it just appears in different languages .. It becomes ceremonies when the religious leaders become filled with the ego and wish to give a show to those that desire a physical representation of the teaching..This is to draw the souls to the ceremony to gather money from the students. Therefore power and wealth is the aim... but we know better, that is why we are here.. as knowledge of the Truth requires no money. Thomas
 
A bogey that you do not believe in has no power to hurt you or worry you. The Bogey Man who lives under the cellar stairs cannot frighten or deceive you now, because you do not believe in him; but when you were three years old it was very different. Then he had the power to raise your heartbeat to a gallop, draw all the blood out of your cheeks, set your knees knocking together, and literally curdles the food in your little stomach.


Yet today he cannot cause one flicker of an eyelash~ because you do not believe in him. That is the whole difference. Nothing in reality has changed. There is no Bogey Man there, and there never was at any time; the difference is in you. You have now changed your thought. You have found that he was only a bogey, and so you are free.


Now it is exactly the same with any other kind of evil that may seem to be showing itself in your experience, for all evil is a bogey. It is there only because you believe in it, and it will disappear directly you cease to believe in it. The only "Life" it has is what it receives from you. The only power it has over you is what you give it in belief.
