Yero, I join the multitudes of Gambians in sharing my condolences on the passing of your beloved grandmother, the matrarch of the family. You will be consoled that you spoke with her as recently as yesterday before she passed. Blessed are those who are fortunate enough to send their loved ones to the warm bosoms of Allah. I pray that Allah grant her peaceful repose and may the almighty shower you and your young family the residual love and guidance grandma Eggeh will undoubtedly send your way. She is alive with Allah.

In Loving Memory: Eggeh Sowe
 
It is with a heavy heart I relay on behalf of my entire family the death of my maternal grandmother, Mama Eggeh Sowe of Sintet FulaKunda.  Mama Eggeh as we fondly called her was the one that saw us through in life, through the many triumphs and huddles.  Even though I personally lost my mother since January 31st 1997, Mama was the one we called a mother.  She was there to give us the much needed motherly support, love, prayers and blessings. I last spoke with her just yesterday (Sunday November 20th 2011) and when I did I still recalled her strong voice re-assuring me all was well. 
Now that she passed away, I thank God Almighty for having made such a woman my grandmother and making her to live and provide us with support for all these years.  I pray to Allah (SWT) in whose Hands all things are, to kindly accept her soul to Jannah.  I equally ask of you all to send her and all those parents of ours that passed away your prayers
