How do you know that i support UDP? Please try to be serious! I am concern about issues of good governance and human rights. Without second round of voting I am advocating for a united coalition to put in place a functional democracy. You mirror Gambia under one man abosulute power and you did want that to be a continuum. It is almost coming to 50 years since the birth of our nation with two leader you don't think that is a problem. With or without coalition if will continue to be my moral and social responsibility stand up against the rule of fear which your DEAR LEADER have created in our country.g

Subject: 2011 - THE SORRY STATE OF THE GAMBIAN OPPOSITION
To: [log in to unmask]

For the past 4 years, I have spent immense time documenting the failures of the opposition, and predicting that there will be no coalition against OUR DEAR LEADER. The Opposition has failed Gambians again just as they did in 2006. I believe now is the time for all us to embrace the leadership of Professor Sheikh Alh. Yahya AJJ Jammeh.

In summary, opposition politics is dead in the Gambia – considering the current leaders and their close allies. Darbo will never give way to any one. He will continue to obstruct the progress of the opposition because he thinks he is the only one capable of running a coalition. People like Suntu should spend sometime looking at the numbers below, and realize that Gambians are tired of the failures of UDP. UDP is the most dormant party in the Gambia. They only surface few weeks before an election. Other UDP supporters such as Dave, Karim, Sainey etc should stop blaming Professor Jammeh and urge Darbo to join APRC or the a coalition.

1996 = 35%
2001  = 32%
2006 = 26%

Hamat Bah, I predicted would join the APRC and I believe he attempted to and was rejected, and that is why he is trying to run by himself. Several postings back, I indicated his intent to quit UDP and my friend Ansu indicated that he will always stay with UDP.

For Mai Fatty, he is just looking for cheap popularity and ways to fill his pockets. How do you become a party leader when 2 percent of Gambians don’t even know your party symbol? Only the cyber warriors know about him.

For PDOIS they are gentlemen; however, they cannot move an inch because their philosophy is beyond the comprehension of many ordinary Gambians. Right now, they are the only credible opposition party in the Gambia. They had always maintained their dignity.

Now, I call on all of you to recognize that OUR DEAR LEADER is recognized globally and Gambians – home and abroad, love him DEARLY. Let us all join hands and support him by joining the APRC.

Happy new year…
