Subject: Ramadan Food Distribution completed, Thanks to Caravan of Mercy
To: [log in to unmask]

*Hi guys, you may have already read this news item on the Observer and daily
news. The Caravan of Mercy is a U.K based charity. This year, it distributed
food stuffs across different parts of the Gambia. The food items included,
rice, sugar, and vegetable oil. This charity is friendly to the Gambia, we
did a radio funding raising last week and Muslims in the U.k have seen that,
our brotherhood in faith is far stronger than apparent. It is hope that,
this efforts will continue. All the charity workers are volunteers.*
*May Allah bless Mawana Ebrahim for emphasising the Gambian case at all
level. This year, the URR region benefited immensely. The Charity reached
five hundred Widows, old aged men and women and the poor. The August month
is always a time of hardship in the rural areas. As Kid's, we use to
remember our elders frowning on August. May Allah reward the generous
donations by well meaning British Muslims. And also the Gambia office of
Caravan of Mercy did well in accessing difficult places. The roads are bad
and some places around Basse were flooded. check their website at **
