Re: Ba-Kawsu Fofana
I want to register my disagreement with the Supreme Islamic Council on their joint take in collaboration with the Jammeh administration to silent Ba-Kawsu in the manner and nature they are doing it. I agree with Mr. Darboe that the job of the council members is not to put duct-tape to seal peoples’ mouths. Secondly, their association with Yaya Jammeh bothers me a lot. It clearly justifies in my view why Ba-Kawsu will be critical against them.
If they have any case against Ba-Kawsu, it should be legally addressed either through the courts or through the Islamic ‘Kadis’ in Banjul. Now that they have come this far, whatever happens to Ba-Kawsu of any torture or disappearance, they shall be held accountable for it in this world and the hereafter.
If they desire, they can work on a peaceful resolution where all the concerns including those of Ba-Kawsu can be addressed. I think that is their best bet. Please read….
